Stove Top Almonds

These easy-to-make nibbles are the perfect grown-up snack served with a bubbly wine, like a Prosecco.



  • 1. Combine oil and almonds in a small heavy saucepan over medium-low heat.
  • 2. Gently cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring often. Do NOT fry the almonds.
  • 3. When nice and fragrant, remove from heat.
  • 4. Place a paper towel on top of several layers of newspaper and pour the almonds and oil on top. Spread the nuts across the paper towel, to drain.
  • 5. Pour almonds into bowl and toss with salt.
