As a young woman, I struggled with wicked food cravings, binge eating, and unhealthy lab reports. I crashed mid-afternoon. Many afternoons, I’d fall asleep at my computer. (Of course, this could have been more closely related to my job at the time as an actuarial analyst.😜) To try and energize myself, I’d eat boxes of fat-free cookies and candy, and drink diet coke. Then at night, I’d mix a batch of chocolate chip cookies just to eat the dough. I'd constantly berate myself because I wasn’t happy with how I looked and how I felt. I just wanted to feel confident and comfortable in my body.

That’s when I decided that there HAD to be a better way.
